In keeping with the mission of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Catholic Schools, each of our schools provides relevant, meaningful, and quality instruction in the spirit of Christ and in accordance with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Our curriculum for all disciplines is developed through research, various resources and national standard alignment, which ensures students have the content and skills they need to succeed in college and careers.
Our Religion curriculum is based on the six tasks of catechesis as six key elements of lived Catholic life so as to help our students realize the intimate connection between our Catholic faith and life. Including the strong relationship between the pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the key elements of Catholic life. The standards are based on the current Catechism of the Catholic Church, Doctrine and Tradition of the Catholic Church as well as Sacred Scripture and form the foundation of the curriculum, shaping its direction.
Please note: Districts or schools must first contact the Office of Catholic Schools for permission to copy and/or use parts of our curriculum.
